Profiled parts and super-elastic materials ensure excellent mobility. The unique active insulation Polartec® Alpha® Direct, protected by a lightweight, 2-layer stretch membrane, is located on the front of the body, shoulders, sleeves, and upper back. Being one of the best synthetic insulations on the market, Alpha® Direct optimizes warmth, resists moisture, has excellent vapor permeability, and performs even when wet. Alpha® Direct requires no lining, significantly reducing weight. A 2-layer wind and water-resistant membrane (10,000 mm/10,000 g/m2/ 24h) covers the Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation and protects exposed body parts from wind, rain, and snow. Elasticity and breathability are provided by the amazingly stretchy Blizzard® Thermal comfort knit on the back and forearms. This Italian-made material has a special fabric density, which can maintain internal temperature even when the material is stretched. The risk of hypothermia is, therefore, lower than with regular stretch fabrics. Armpit inserts are made from fabric inspired by GRID technology, which quickly removes sweat from the body. If you wish to secure the jacket snugly, pull down the adjustable jacket hem. Elastic cuffs with thumbholes integrate very well with gloves. The two-way YYK® front zipper is complemented by two zip pockets with mesh inside.
